Okay. This book was a huuuuge step-up from Shatter Me. Juliette was kind of less annoying and whiny haha. But wow so much stuff goes down. We get to see the camp for people with extraordinary people. Ohmygod it was soooo much better. I liked Kenji more in this one, James was soo cute, the new characters were great, we get to see more of a world building happening.
AND OH HOLY MACAROONS WARNER. LET ME LOVE YOU WARNER JUST DUDE LET ME. This book officially made me a member on Team Warner. Oh hell yeah! Adam seemed okay to me but I think he's not really suitable for Juliette?? I think Juliette is better off with Warner because Warner just pushes her to her limits. He encourages Juliette to be better and stronger where as when she's with Adam she's this whiny isolated insecure person. She's with Adam all the freaking time and doesn't even try to make friends. Ugh I hate those kind of people.
Okay, about Warner's dad a.k.a. Anderson. That little son of a bitch. He is the epitome of cruelty and just ruthlessness everywhere. I'm so glad Juliette shot him in both legs LOL. And what the heck is this he's Adam's dad?!! I just can't dude I can't. Adam and Warner are brothers fighting for the love of dearest Juliette like freaking Damon and Stefan.
That passionate scene with Juliette and Warner though. I can't even. JULIETTE WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT WHEN A GORGEOUS NEARLY PERFECT HUMAN BEING POURS HIS HEART TO YOU AND TELLS YOU HE LOVES YOU, YOU TURN HIM DOWN LIKE WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU AND YOUR HEARTBREAKER SOUL.
All I want is for Juliette to finally pull her shit together and tell Warner she loves him. I mean she obviously does and Warner just suffers and suffers. Give the man a break! He already has mommy and daddy issues just make him happy. Please world i'm begging you, don't break Warner's poor little heart over and over again.
Overall, I loved this book <3
